OK so I have a 20g tank.I cycled it for one month.Then I stocked it with 2 algae eaters.Then 2 platys.a week after this i got 2 zebra danios.I give them food once in the morning and once at night.When I changed the water again.2 weeks later the gravel was all green and my plants were covered with this green icky stuff.PLEASE HELP ME. I WANT A GOOD RUN TANk. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

It's dissolved fish waste. Partial water changes of about 20% should be done probably daily until it clears, and at least once a week after. That's just what I've read. I've never had green algae, only brown.

It sounds like you did a water change and didn't do one again until two weeks later. That's too long to wait.
 
I would do about 20% with a good conditioner like Prime.

I also wouldn't worry so much about what the water looks like. Test it to make sure the levels aren't dangerous. A tank can look clear and be unsafe for fish, or look terrible and be safe.
 
the plants have certain requirements.. but i do recommend anubias and anicharis for low light tanks
Yes, Java moss is good for low light, too.

Its just really difficult for me right now. lol i got otehr things to do. pls im a newb rite now.
Just get in the habit of water changes, and after a short time, you will find that they don't take long to do at all! It's easier and cheaper than treating sick fish.
