Is their any way to be able to sex angels in a LFS? I dont want to have to buy 8 of em or so and hope my ratio is ok and i get a pair..

the juvies that most LFS have are too young to pair off i assume? or can i do my best to pick out the healthiest pair i can find at a LFS?
yeah, I dont ever buy anything thats not a juvie, i like to raise and actually watch my fish grow.
with babies, or juvies, its pretty impossible..as adults.in my experience...males seem to have a bulkier head, with a slight hump..
yes there are no hard fast rules that apply to sexing angels.
the bump in the head has been used as has the angle of the ventral fin..
however, it is not set in stone..it's even worse trying to sex wilds
do try and pick the healthiest..do you have any breeders near you??
you can get angels from hobby breeders for much less and generally a much higher quality.
most of the fish you see in the lfs are 'B' grade at best.
I know I keep all my best..(tho I do part with them with known aquariasts)
the 'A' and 'AA' wil not be seen in the lfs.
