I would like to decorate my 10 gallon swordtail tank(yes they will be moved to a 20 gallon soon then hopefully next year a 55) I kinda want like a beach theme. I have like a little sand castle decoration in there. I am planning on sand for the bottom. I am also gonna put a piece of driftwood in. Anyone have any other ideas to make it beachy? Like are there any plants that look like seaweed(I would really like to add live plants)

After the swordtails are moved this tank will probably have
a few shrimp and 1 betta(a female)
then it will have like a divider dividing like a third of the tnak for swordtail fry when I have them

So these would be the fish im trying to accomidate since im not changing it till after the swordtials are in thier new tank.

Also, for the 20 gallon the swordtails will be moved into, I would like it moderatly planted, any ideas for a theme that plants would do nicely in. If I could a few corys will probably also be added

bump, I just got permission from my mom to order some plants

I have 2 15 watt bulbs. What amount of light is that considered?

like how many watts per gallon is high, how much is medium, and how much is low?

My husband had this idea that he never went through with - buy a lot of blue gravel and less tan/white gravel. then you can make an 'ocean' and 'dunes' out of the 2 colors. also, i know that petsmart and a ton of other places sell palm tree aquarium decorations. we thought it would look SO cool, but just never did it. not sure how it would work with cleaning though . . .
