The lfs have only smaller fish - only several inches long. Where do you all buy the larger fish. Like 5-7+ inches long?

Find another LFS, use www.yellowpages.com type in pet stores and the city you live in. I'd rather drive than order and ship.

If you go into your profile and add in a location, folks may have some more suggestions for you. BTW, large fish all start small, the only reason I wouldnt buy them small would be if they could be eaten by a larger fish in your tank, or perhaps some species are very sensative when very small.

what kind of fish are we talking about? you're not looking for some XXXL neon tetras or something. . . ? or are you trying to find some more "coy" to put in your 75g? you know they get three feet long, right?

Many LFS sell larger fish, as they tend to get some on "trade in" from people who don't have the tanks to hold them. You'll find tinfoil barbs, bala sharks, larger african and american cichlids, etc. By the way, which tank are you contemplating putting them in? It looks like your 75 with the Balas, coy and catfish is already stocked. You need to consider the adult size of the fish when you are stocking.
I like to get mine when they are small and watch them grow...
