I'm sort of getting this plant thing figured out. Well, sort of.

I have a 20 gal high, pH7 / kh3 / 78F / 30 watts florescent, DIY Co2, 5-20ppm nitrAte, lightly to medium planted.
6 corydoras, 5 otos, 2 danios, 1 neon.

I don't need to dose nitrAtes yet. Being the mad scientist I am, I dosed with Sodium Phosphate before I knew what I was doing and now I have a beautiful tank of mildly green water.

This is an indication that I'm K limited, right?
Do you use 'Grant's' Stump remover? Or in this case could I just use nu-salt since I don't need the nitrate?

Can you give me a quick link to a few relevant articles to help clear my brain?

many thanks,
:)

You don't use KNO3 for Potassium(even though it has it in it). Yes, use KCl(NuSalt).
Your green water could be an indication a few things. A good water change will clear the algae. Then adding the K (NuSalt) will tell you if that was the problem. You only have 11/2watts/gal. which is good for now because the tank is lightly planted. But having just a few plants could be a contributing factor.
