I have a decent digital camera and just wondered if anyone had any tips for a complete newbie with taking photos of the fish. Thanks!

If you use flash, make sure you angle your camera so that you don't get glare on the glass.

You should also wipe the glass of your aquarium too to avoid smudges and handprints from showing.

Play around with using roomlights and tank lights with a smaller aperature, or just tank lights with a much larger aperature.

I'm no pro, but this works for me.

I checked out aquatic-photography.com and became a member and read up and looked at pix and everything. However, now, the water is extremely cloudy, pretty much since I did my water change. Any way to fix that or reasons for it?

Look for/use the Macro setting. Macro settings usually look like the Flower icon. I also use them at work (when I work *lol*), to take photos of engineering prints with text and detail.

It worked great for getting my (RIP) dwarf gourami's detail in great sharpness, and even the neons.
