hi guys, just a few questions i have about my 8 gallon soon to be reef.

-i currently have an aquaclear powerhead in there, it pumps out 175 gph, is that sufficent enough?

-i have a bucket full of RO water, turns out i didnt need as much as i thoughted because of sand (and i thought it was a 10g tank). The bucket has a cover on it, will the water be alright to stay in the bucket for a water change or two down the road, or should i just pitch it?

-Thanks

that powerhead should do okay. it is usualy better to have more smaller ones, and seeing how it is only 7 gallons, i am assuming you are not keeping anything such as sps which needs higher flow, so that should be fine and get around okay.
however, another small one wouldnt hurt IMO
and yes, that water should b e fine as long as it is covered and there is nothing that will decay in the bucket

ok, thanks for the help :)
