I did a 30% water change today. I left for dinner and came vack a couple of hours later and there was a web of white stringy stiff attached t between my live and fake plants and some just floating around freely. There was a lot. Does anybody know what it is and how I can get rid of it?

I have that too. Mine comes out after water changes. I think its rotting fish food combined with fish waste. For me, it gets stuck in the fake trees and under gravel, and when the water splashes into the tank, everything swooshes around and the stringy stuff comes out. I just keep the filter running and it ends fine.
