eventually i'll start offering prepared foods..

man, i'm fighting a battle within myself whether i want Pbass or oscars.. ive only got a 75, and i definitely do NOT want to overstock.
this video makes me want a Pbass more, but ive had experience with oscars...

I Would stick with an Oscar. Even the smallest P bass will outgrow a 75.

and i agree
an oscar will do better in a 75, a pbass will outgrow it within 7 months if well fed
oscars usually get around 12-14 inches in aquariums
pbass usually get 20+ inches, so i would wait till i had a much larger tank
