I have a former pet shop owner in my neighborhood who is liquidating his assets so he can finally retire, (lol, hes only 43), he has a 100 gal saltwater package, (tank, canopy, stand, and wet/dry filter), for sale for $350.00, the tank is only three years old. It has been sitting unused in A back storage room all this time. The tank has also been fitted with overflows

SHOULD I JUMP ON THIS LIKE A CAT WITH A MOUSE, OR A DOG WITH A BONE =):bday: :dance2:

I checked it out earlier, it looked a little rough, I neglected to mention he had a case of goldfish feed stored in there when his ceiling started leaking due to hurricane katrina, the feed was a bit slimy afterwords though, besides the goldfish feed theres really no problems with it, and the stand needs some stain added to it, I am trying to con my dad and my grandmother into letting me buy it though lol. I cannot decide whether to make it into a fresh tank or just jump into the salt side of the hobby

Allright now that I know this, How much should this setup be selling for?

I am going to buy and then fix it up, and then sell it, I want to get a slightly bigger tank than this one. I want to know what I should sell it for, truthfully please everybody, any help would be appreciated, Thanks

you probably won't get much return on investment on that deal.

I recently picked up a 75 with oak canopy ,stand with wet/dry extra pump for the sump, heaters, (acrylic tank) VHO light with extra bulbs and iceca ballast..asked $450 paid $400
saw a similar glass tank with same oak canopy and stand (90 gal tank) with two cannister filters and lights extra media $400 wife said no to this set up and told me I need the 12 step program for MTS.

if you were going to buy it to use ..jump on it.
