Currently I have 6 juvenile cichlids in a 55 gallon tank, I am planning to add 7 more. I am attaching pictures of my setup. Please give me your opinion on the rock work, there are around 6 to 7 caves, is it good enough or do I need to add some more.
Thanks!!

What kind of cichlids are you adding? Some of the ones you have should be in groups, you may be headed for some issues.
I'm not comfortable with the stand you have the tank on, but that is just me!
Great start.

Rockwork looks great, but if it was me, I get rid of the coral based background. Clashes with the theme inside the tank. Try a plain background; let the beauty inside your tank show instead of a picture on the outside...

Right now I have
1 Aulonocara sp "Lwanda Red Top"
1 Protomelas taeniolatus
1 Chalinochromis sp "ndobnoi"
1 Scianochromis fryeri "Electric Blue Ahli"
1 Cynotilapia afra "Chimate"
1 Yellow Lab
and I was planning on getting albino "Regal" peacocks, Astatotilapia sp. "Redtail 44, Labidochromis Hongi "Red Top Kimpuma" & couple more yellow labs.
I know the stand doesn't look very robust, but it actual has six metal legs to support it and is pretty stable. I might upgrade to a fully covered stand later on.

These are lava rocks. There run about $1.99/ lb, kinda expensive but look cool if arranged right.
