ok guys i have posted on this before but have finally figured out what i would like to do with my tank

this is a 44 corner pentagon
and i would like some suggestions on plants
i want my tall plants along the back two walls
med plants in front of those
foreground grasses or shorter infront of those
and some moss or somthing that will grow on driftwood and cover it and will grow on some rocks

this design will hopefully create depth and make my tank appear visually bigger

it will be a community tank
bosmani rainbows
neons
corys
and hatchets for the top

It will help us if you provide information on lighting and whether you will be adding CO2, and what substrate you have.

My honest thought is that your not going to have enough light. Have you thought about looking into CF lighting?

I agree, you might be able to grow only Java Moss and Java Fern. A compact fluorescent retrofit kit can be mounting in the existing light setup to replace the weak lights.

IF you end up with enough light, your idea sounds good. Check out www.aquabotanic.com or www.aquariumgarden.com they list plants by tank section and offer other good info like ease of care.
