I have a plastic tank being used as a plant raiser currently:

And i need to find a heater that will work, due to the fact that i believe the plants are not growing at their best rate. the tank has about an inch or so of sand.

also, do i need to worry about my water qualirty, as far as amm, nti, nta goes?

i removed most of the fish food i had used to hopefully provide some nutrients for, was this necessary?

thank you, and any other suggestions are welcome,
B.W.

Try this one http://www.bigalsonline.com/BigAlsUS/ctl3684/cp18534/si1382454/cl0/hydorminiheater75watt
It is not adjustable but apparently keeps the water 3-5 degrees warmer then the room

does it work well?

i'm not sure, but i think that 3-5 degrees might be too little a diff.??

thanks

im not sure what kind of hear you are looking for... It would definitely keep it in the mid-high 70s. Hydor makes some good products, and for the price it may be worth it.

25 watt Marineland Visi-Therm Stealth is the way to go!
