I've got a 5lb cylinder that was filled back in November. The pressure in the tank is normally 900 psi. It's starting to drop a bit, down to 850 psi. I noticed the drop 3-4 days ago. Any ideas on how much longer do I have before the tank will dump? I've got another tank coming, and I'm hoping it will last untill then. That way I don't have make seperate trips to fill 'em up:dance2: .

Thanks

it should should last. the 5 pounder should last 6 months. i would look for leaks or something.

check for leaks in your line...what type of tubing are you using? Clippard...CO2 tubing or airline type?

I'm using some black, thick walled C02 tubing. I was running it about 2-3 bubbles per second. I checked all the threaded areas with soapy water, and no bubbles. That was when I first put it together, maybe I'll check again.

The pressure in a CO2 cylinder is directly related to the ambient temperature. I'm betting that your house is a bit cooler right now.

Good call Rex!! It's been colder here lately and I've been keeping the temp in the house down around 65.

Makes sense to me. Your the man!

Thanks
