mushrooms

the disc will not come out just a sump are nothing at all there but give them time as mushrooms are bomb proof your tank will come to no harm leaving them in even if they are dead but mushrooms are like aiptasia to kill always find a way back unless you use chemicals

Mushrooms can take a lot of abuse so dont give up on them until they turn to goo like brackishguybob said.

Yeah they are pretty hearty critters for sure, but you just have to be patient with them. If they just aren't blooming then you might want to try moving them to different levels of light or flow. I've noticed that some of my mushrooms don't like being up high and close to the light, so I moved them down to the middle of the tank and they bloomed nicely.

i have two special ed mushrooms.

they're usually crooked and lopsided. but other than that okay.

they do weird stuff.

I had several mushrooms in my tank and they were doing fine for a couple of months. One day one of them dissapeared, and another a few days later, until they were all gone. I have a camel shrimp in the tank and have read that they might eat mushroom corals. I guess that must be what happened to them because they never looked unhealthy or turned to goo, just gone.
