Hi there, are there any dwarf cichlids that would thrive in a 10 gallon? Or is that pushing the limit....if its not a good idea I guess I can just put some smaller regular fresh water fish in there. Thanks in advance.

It is "doable" with Rams, but, since they like pristine water conditions, you would have to pay awfully close attention to the water.
It is likewise "doable" with Convicts, but, because of their aggression, I wouldn't try it.

I would suggest shellies, though...I have provided many links to shellies around this site (just search for keyword shellies).

Great, shellies are actually what I was hoping would work. Do you think a mating pair of similis would do ok? If not them how about the multifacatious(spelling?)?Thanks again, your a real helper childawg.

Hey, no prob, it's what I do...I'll look at the Shelldweller Recipe to see which ones work in a 10 gal. Be back in two to five...

It looks like sims would be fine, as would be multies, so it is up to you between the two!
Savage childawg you said be back in 2-5 and you came back posted and everything in one. Talk about fast.

It helps to have those links in my favorites on IE 5.0.

Ok, sounds good. I think I am gonna go with the sims, they seem a little more intrigueing (spelling?). Thanks once again....
BTW, that info you got was from the cichlidrecipe.com website?

Yep, and the link is, namely, http://www.cichlidrecipe.com/shellweb/
Good luck with the sims!
