Do you guys think a pink convict and blood parrot can be housed together. At work we have a Show tank wich houses one convict an 2 Bps, in a 50tall custom biult tank? they where introduced to the tank at 1" and now the convict is about 6 and the barrot about 4" and they get along... is this likely? or was that just luck

if they all get along already, what does it matter what anyone else "thinks"? or are you talking about adding additional fish?

If they get along then that's great. Weird, but great. I wouldn't trust Convicts with anything, let alone a BP. BP's lack great swimming strength and the ability to "nip back." Although it wouldn't be a combination I'd trust, if it works for you then either leave it be or go by instinct.
In the same vein, I wouldn't trust a Pit Bull with my Collie.
Unless you have a lot of space in the tank, its quite dangerous to mix a convict with a parrot fish.

Before I moved, my convict tank had two parrots and two jack dempseys. Everyone seemed to get along.
