Hey, I have heard of mudskippers eating fiddlers. Can you tell more about how the fiddler mudskipper tank is setup? I wanted to set up a brackish water system for fish and fiddlers as described below. Can you give any recommendations?

I am thinking of having a two tank system with pumps that would flood the land area daily(the land area would be affixed about 2/3 the way up the height of the tank with drains) to simulate tides. The "tide" would borrow water from the other tank then return it at the recession of the "tide".

hey my tank set-up is quite simple, i dont have tide simulators. i have sand and crushed coral as a substrate, that goes up gently like a hill so they can access the water. i have a cansister filter which hits this rock and creates a cool water fall. i have some slate that goes to this rock so they can climb on to it. they water has two floating lilypad plants made for pods. they love the lilipads, i also have some fake plants some driftwood. its a really cool setup and that tide simulator sounds cool btw. my skippers are small and can only eat anything that fits in their mouth. so the fiddler is out of the question of being eat by maybe when they get bigger they could eat it.:dance2: hope this made sense
