Hello all..
Can anybody provide me with a little help..On the new system i am building, i was going to use an overflow box setup and simple return back to the tank..
However, i have decided to drill the tank now, make the most of it while it is empty and in a place i can manage..
Please look at the attached picture and give me your thoughts...
Bulkhead and strainer going down to the sump and return coming back up to the tank putting water back in two different area's (blue)..
Closed loop as you can see in Red..
I am now planning on using 40mm UK Spec pipe work instead of 32mm..
What i am after knowing is does anyone see any issues with what i have planned? Or anything need to be changed?
I know i will now need to have two pumps, one for the sump return and one for the closed loop. What would people suggest?
Numbers time..
Main Tank is 100gals
Sump Tank is 28gals
Height from sump to top of tank - 95 inches
