Well, I've been doing a lot of reading. I started my tank about a month and a half ago. Started off with platys, then added a dwarf gourami and some cories, and today I finally added an African Butterfly fish.

It seems to be doing well. It is a rather small one right now, a little less than two inches without the fins. It engulfed some freeze dried bloodworms.

My tank includes:

3 gold twin bar platys
3 panda cories (soon to be 6 :D)
1 blue dwarf gourami
3 otos
1 ABF

This seems to be an ideal stocking size for this size tank. Just enough action to keep me occupied, but still easy on the fishies.

it looks good so far :)

i would be careful with the ABF and the dwarg gourami and platies. ABF have been know to be terretorial with other fish the swim around the top of the tank.

My platys spend most of their time down in the gravel picking around... And the gourami never seems to do anything but swim from side to side about half way down. The ABF has staked out the corner where I put the tallest of my plants... So things seem to be good so far.
