ok, going to be starting a cichlid tank (55 gal) and I'm looking for ideas for aquascaping it.
I would love to see some of your pics to help give me ideas.

here's my 55 gallon planted tank. I used a log to raise the back left corner up another 2" higher than the rest. the log is sitting there by itself, but I would recommend attaching it to another board or something to keep it in one place, since the gravel has moved the log out slowly.

What kind of cichlids are you planning on having? Malawi cichlids would need alot of rockwork, while SA's can live in planted tanks. :)

I've rearranged the rocks since that picture, but its just slightly different.

Well, I don't want to do a planted tank. I'm kinda looking for a rocky setup. I have a ton of rather large river stones and other odd shaped rocks and such. That tank looks awsome with the slate wall.
