the fish store i went to yesterday has blackwroms (i didnt check them out) and i was wondering what they are... do you think they are live or frozen?? they also said that they had brine shrimp too... but im not concered about those... if they are live, are they easy to culture???

Live. Worms don't freeze (though they do freeze-dry). There are some techniques for culturing blackworms, offered by Prof. Charles Drewes of Iowa State at www.skepticalaquarist.com under live food.

They're easy to keep even if you aren't actively culturing them.
