hello new member here

Hello I'm a new member to the site i have been browsing the different articles and forum. I really like the diy posts they're great. I have 1 38 gallon and a 20 gallon tank both fereshwater. I'm interested in starting a new tank a marine tank, to be honest i've heard of the horror stories of starting a tank and i am not very expereinced. I've only had my freshwatertanks for 4 monthes. I'd love for any advice or info to a site, book, or thread to be properly informed of set ups, equipment, and maintaince for a first time marine tank.

Marine tank's aren't as hard as some people make them out to be. You just have to prepare and research more because its a lot more expensive to mess up a maine tank than it is a feshwater. There is a lot of very experienced marine aquariest's right here at AC. Post a thread in the marine newbie forum and you will get pleanty of reply's to your question's.
