I've been thinking about this for a while, and i think that it would be a great idea to compile a list of members/lfs/organizations in the state of Connecticut. I know that AC has quite a few, so post away!
P.S., some other states should do this as well if they want.

I'll refrain from commenting on our governor right now, no matter how her tax hike proposal ticks me off. A few great LFS I can think of...
Tropical Exotics... located in Bethel this is run by a very honest but down to earth guy who has given me oodles of deals on supplies, etc.
Petco.. both in Danbury and in Stratford these stores have employees that are honest, caring, and helpful.
Purrfect Pets.. a store in Milford with a unique fish, tank, and supply selection. Very nice people.
Pet Supply Plus.... located in Monroe with a helpful, honest staff.

if it wasnt for the exorbitant gas tax, we might have good gas prices right now.

OMG, just checked out the Aquarium conservation place in cromwell!!!!!!
AAAHHHH sooo muuuucccchhh puuuurrrrrpppllleeee (live rock was fantastic :D )
While on the way through Rocky hill i found another hole-in-the-wall LPS on the silas deane HWY. Not the best selection of fish by any means, but it looked like they had some good tank deals and some equipment.
I say LPS because they had a great selection of birds and small mammals, and some really nice rabbits. They also had a great grooming program, walkin for about 5$ to groom.
I happen to like it, because whenever they get a new tank from AGA, they give away an issue of TFH if you ask, which lead me to get the really good one from August 2005 about aro's and FW rays.

Im not opposed to the income tax hike. It still won't be that high and if it fund's 20 billion in education then it will pay for itself in time anyhow.
There is a lot of other connecticut member here who have not commented yet come on guys!

All Pets Club- Branford
Petstar- Branford
Aquarium Concepts- Branford
Petco- North Haven
Purr-fect Pets in Milford gets some very nice fish in at times. I check that place out fairly often. They have some gorgeous discus and many other types of fish.
Petsmart in Norwalk gets in some nice bettas, senegal bichirs, ctenopomas, and bolivian rams.
The Petco's in Norwalk & Stratford are ok.They mainly just get the same mass produced types of fish in. I have gotten some nice rainbowfish (boesemani & herbertaxelrodi) from the one in Norwalk though.
The Waterbury Aquarium can get in some very interesting exotic fish.
