Need help with connecting canister to tank.

Hi,

Can you guys post picture sof your canister connected to your tanks?
my tank is glass. and it has a support on top. so it has a glass thats too wide. anybody has this kind of tank? because our tanks here are made that way. now i have a problem connecting the intake of the canister into the tank. any advice on how to modify this?

Can you post a pic of the top of your tank? I'm not sure I'm understanding what it looks like. Also, what kind of filter is it?

Will have to bring camera home from work, but mine has "U" tubes that go up and over, then back down into the tank, that the hoses attach to.

Mine's similar with the 'U' tubing going up and over, but my tank has 2 holes at the back so the U tubing goes under the hood.

Grab yourself a camera from somewhere and post pics so we can visualise it better (and help better).

are the intake and rainbar on the opposite side of the tank? or are they on the same side?
