Hello Everyone,
Today is my first time in AC and I liked what I say. So, I decided to join. I started up a 55g tank a couple days ago, and plan to put Oscars in it. Any suggestions to help me get started are welcome. Look forward to chatting with you all.

Welcome Bryce! Glad you joined.....Feel free to explore and search the forums....one thing you may find is that Oscars can get huge and they grow fast....even one in a 55 is a little tight. However, there are literally hundreds of fish that would be well suited for a 55g tank after it is cycled. See what you find and feel free to discuss your plans! Have fun!

welcome to ac. time to read read read. i wouldnt put a oscar in a tank smaller then 75 gal min.

Oscars are kind big fellows, but like Yofishboy said, there are hundreds, if not thousands of possible combinations, so i'm sur we can help you find one that you like.

Welcome to AC! Ask around, there are some other combinations that are great for that 55.
