Feeding juveniles

I currently feed my Juvenile Cichlids (new life spectrum and or Hikari Veggie pellets) twice a day. The food is usually consumed within a minute. I do 30% water change every week. Am I feeding them too much? I have received different response from different people, some say that it's better to feed them every other day and some say once a day. I was also told that if I want to grow them fast I should feed them twice a day everyday. Will I be hurting them in any way if I feed them twice a day?

i've been breeding cichlids for some 35 years and have always fed them twice a day.

as liv2padl said twice a day should be fine.

if you notice clouding or significantly higher nitrates do a bigger water change. 50% is fine, or 30% twice a week. more food = more poop.
