Not kidding. I have a lot of water sprites, but have found it hard to find nice, flattish dark rock (the kind one could attach java moss to). So, if you live in NYC and happen to have such a rock, I'll trade you a water sprite for it. I'd need to see a picture of the rock since I'm looking for something fairly specific.
I live in OK and we have more rocks than you can throw... well... a rock at! If you don't mind shipping, I will look around for something for you. We have lots of flat shale-like stones in shades of red and dark brown... I bet I could find one that would suit your needs. Any idea how big?
And I've never had a live plant before... are sprites hard to keep?
Sorry, I don't much feel like paying for shipping just for a rock. Water Sprites are very very easy to care for though... mine are flourishing with low lighting and once a week ferts.
Well I can't really find a picture, but I'm looking for something natural looking, so dark grey or perhaps brown, and something rough so java ferns/java moss can be easily attached. Size wise it should be approximately 4"x3"x3", slightly bigger is fine since I can always chip off. The idea is that is will be a kind of "change of altitude" in my tank. If you have anything that you think may work, show me...
