:)hello everyone my wife & i are very new aquariums. we have 2 freshwater tanks up & running, a 10gal & 37gal tall. it all started with a Betta in a bowl from our local lfs. long story short, we've learned there is more to keeping fish than just feeding them. we hope to learn a lot more from everyone else's experiences. right now we are setting up a 75gal.fw. & 55gal.sw. tank. we're thinking about live plants for the fw, sumps for both maybe? any suggestions would be wholeheartedly appreciated :thm:Thanks

welcome to ac. MTS it sounds like. multiple tank syndrome
planted tanks are really nice. a sump might not be the best idea for a planted tank if you want to go with higher lights and co2. something to look into. post in the plant section if you want more info.

definetely mts, we're hooked. thanks for the advice on the plant section. no sump would be easier,no drilling(read possible breakage),which i'm a little worried about.
