i set the best trap i could, just a regular old nestbox. i hope he sleeps in it tonight.

my chickens legs have been weak, apparently from the cold. i was lucky to have the time to build a makeshift shelter, consideing my other one broke. i was happy to see them doing better. this winter is already much colder than im used to, iv got a ton more renovating in my future, sigh...

Cheers for rhythm stick and the python fish scene with cleese, Chill. People thought Drury was very politically incorrect using the terms spastic and autistic, but they didn't realise that he suffers autism and 'lived' spastic.
I'm glad you picked up on the parrot thing, too. Amazing the way all that pythonesque British stuff scars one's mind. As soon as cam mentoned the word, parrot, I was laughing. Not disrespect, cam lol.

So, you're all tucked up asleep.......Well at least I've got all these tunes to listen to again. I'm also teaching myself to use the 'puter, so I spent last night trying to put some colour and pics on my visitor/home/album/bizzo page. I can't get the photos I want to use to load. I've had to go with some real roughies. If you go there, two things to consider (1) We don't look that 'rural' unless we're working outside, and (2) Be sure to fit protective eyewear before entering the page. There is colour.
Hey, Lady G, have your fishies arrived? I hope they're all doing well for you.
Cam, I spoke with a local here who keeps loads of parrots. His suggestion for the recovery of Stud is to check with locals in your neighbourhood who keep birds. Sometimes they're attracted to the sound of other birds and the possibility of new 'chicks'. Good luck.

Greg...no my fish wont be here till after Thanksgiving. I didn't think about the fact there would be no shipping next week (I need them to arrive on a Wed or Thurs). Soon as I get them though...expect pics!

OMG guys, my Mom let my 4yo pick out a fish yesterday!! I now have a rope fish don't get me wrong I love em, he is sooooo cute but wasn't part of my plan, and completely thoughs off the "Lake Malawi" tank...GAH! Chill!....I've got to work out how to load this stuff, although unv and cam especially might hate it. I actually listen to 2JJJ in my workshop/fishhouse. All current. Demographic is probably under 30.
The Easy Beats were before even OUR time, Chill! I was only six!
Pinball Wizard by The Who was later though. I'm wondering whether Keith passed away before that vid. He was such a freaky dude lol, they wouldn't shot the video without closeups of him. The overlay with him in the background is not exactly what's being played. Almost, but some slightly different runs in there.

INXS were a great band before Michael Hutchence passed away when he was living with Paula Yates, who passed soon after, leaving the father to 3 (?) of her children, Sir Bob Geldoff, of The Boom Town Rats, to raise Michael and Paula's little girl.

cam, when my wife and daughter and I would drive in the car for any length of time, Sophie would get bored. We got these humungus headphones and some goons CDs. We thought, if they don't keep Soph occupied, we can listen to them. Well, she looked hilareous....big headphones, little head, and looking puzzled one minute and seriously laughing the next. She's five now and STILL loves the goons. At least once a week after school she'll sit in her room, doing silly voices and laughing happily.
Hey..good luck with the new bird. Is the hen sitting?

hey all just thought id come on for a quick HOWDY DOODIE :) just brought a new house so i have been FLAT OUT doing it up (and making my fish room) :) gave all my little fish away before the move so i have just re ordered A LOT and some new big ones WOOHOO im excited should be here in a week CANT WAIT but hopefully now the house is moving along nice and smooth i can get on here a little more
