Here's a few pics of the viveriums I've set up for some poison dart frogs. They're pretty simple, no complicated water features or anything .....yet...hehe.... I'm planning on someday getting a 40gallon breeder fixed up in a cool way, but for now these'll do......

A 20long divided viv...has two different PODs....a"Citronella" and an "Oelemari"

This one is a 10gallon with one auratus Green and Black. The plants on the left are sad because I had just ripped them up and replanted them...poor things...

I have yet to find the time to setup that 40 gallon.....perhaps this summer (yeah, that's what I said last year  ) When I do I'll be looking for some Oyapok PODs as I have learned that they can do well in groups, where most others do NOT. And THAT viv will have an awesome waterfeature !!!

ARE YOU KIDDING? Theres no way even one auratus (http://www.aquahobby.com/gallery/e_auratus.php) could be happy in there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice setups though.

I have to ask, what do you feed your poison darts? I've heard many people feed their's fruit flies which they culture themselves. I would think feeding them small enough crickets would be sufficient as well. What's your opinion?

GRRREAT set up!!! How much did your poison dart frogs cost you alone? Where did you get the moss/plants, outdoors? How much total did it cost you? How come one of the tanks is seperated into two? Thanks!

#1. I bought all of them on sale.....the G&B was $25, the Oelemari and the Citronella were both $45 each.

#2 I got the moss and most of the plants from outside in my yard. I have quite a variety of moss and ferns to choose from back there. I do have to change it out once in awhile though, but no problem.

#3 All together, the frogs plus the material for the tank cost about $160...that's not including the G&B..my daughter bought him for herself.

#4 I have those two divided because PDFs can be pretty aggressive towards each other...specifically the females. If I don't seperate them one may very well do in the other one. You can keep male/female pairs together, but that's about it.....although, there are a few species which can tolerate each others company.

Crickets will not work for froglets they must have FF until they are adult size.
FF are the main staple diet for most dart frogs.
I quite a few darts and they all eat FF with an occasional cricket treat

Very nice tanks you have.
Watch out for them Oyapoks my females fought like mad.
