growth on my gourami

today i noticed a white circle on my dwarf gourami. its on the base of his dorsal fin, and it seems to be some sort of growth on him.almost scab like. any ideas? it looks kinda like a wart. thanx guys.

Could it be the virus Lymphocystis? Not very contagious. Nothing can be done about it. It may just 'go away" like a wart after some months.
