so what do you guys think? can i do anything with this list that i have made of some cichlids that i like. i have a 55 gal that i want to restock! what ones would you go with and what male to female ratio should i have with them. i am not looking to have babies are anything just want everyone to get along okay. so its possible i would like all males bc of there coloring, not sure if that would work at all. any suggestions?

P.S just letting you all know my 55 gal is all cycled so its ready to go

Mbunas get fairly large(4-6 inches), and are very agressive, you would need a good ratio of males and females, but IMHO the tank is too small for that

i would stick to the african theme, just get some that are easier
 
okay i have noticed that i didn't paste my list right, bc it didn't show up lol. so i will edit my post with list and see what you guys think after that.

oh and i wanted to know what you guys think of having an all male mbuna tank.

You could do a species only tank with Pseudotropheus saulosi - they grow to 4" but are dimorphic, with stripy blue males and yellow females. Good colour variations imo:

Or the smaller P.demasoni, at 2.5", but more agressive. Make sure you stock either 1 male or 3 males, along with 3 females to each male. If you had 2 males, the subordinate one would be harassed to death.

Male only tanks work fine, but I think they're less interesting imo
