Hello there people..

Just after everyones thoughts in advance of the new tank being setup...total volume including sump is 129 Gals...The only stocking i am bringing over from my old tank is the mated pair of clowns, 3 cleaners and the peppermint...plus all the snails and hermits of course...

What are everyones thoughts...

Het atnixon! Well, what kind of fish do you think you'd want? Are you looking for semi-large fish, colorful fish, schooling, cleaning crew, etc?

If you're a fellow Tang lover, there are many to choose from ranging from a fully-grown 6" and up.

If you want some color, I would suggest the Royal Gramma Basslet or some Anthias (some species are aggressive while others are very peaceful).

You could get a bunch of blue-green, or yellow, Chromis- they add quick color to a tank and look nice swimming around together, eat well, and stay pretty small.

There's the Banggai Cardinalfish (also the spotted kind)- I think they're pretty nice looking with some not eating at first but recommended to feed after the lights go out. They don't seem to move too fast and when they do, they do so with a helicopter type movement. Nice fish!

There's also the dwarf angel you could choose from- flame, coral beauty, bicolor etc. They're pretty bright.

The foxface is usually peaceful and makes a tank interesting. There are also all the different kinds of wrasse (I'm not a big wrasse fan)- some aggressive, some not. Oh, and Gobies! Can't beat Gobies- sand-sifting, cleaner gobies, the yellow-heads, sleeper gobies, etc.

Hehe, I could go on but I already wrote too much. It really depends on what you're looking for, how many you want, size...so what are your preferences?

Well...my main intention is for this to become a reef, mainly sps's...so anything i put in there has to be reef safe..

Tang....would like either a yellow or a regal
Goby....Will have a yellow watchman goby and a shrimp to get the symbiotic relationship going...

That is the only two i am really certain of...

I like the idea of a small schoal of chromis, the greeen ones as i think they would look great at the top area of the tank with the olight replecting off them....

i want to be looking for about 7 main fish....all different colours so i get a variety of colour all across the tank...

Lubbocks fairy wrasse or something similar..I am pretty sure all fairy wrasse are perfectly safe for reef use.
