HI everyone, I am new to tropical fish. I am an animal lover and help network dogs who have been rescued/abandoned and generally try to educate people that animals deserve better than what most people give them. I ended up rescuing a black phantom tetra and an orange phantom (?) tetra from my sister-in-law who bought the two fish on a whim for her 3 year old, lost interest in 15 minutes, turned off the filter and left the fish to die. What a great example she is for her children.:mad2:
I bought a larger (15 gallon) tank and two buddies each for the tetras (orange and black) and that now sits in my office at work! I will be getting another for home as I am totally charmed by my fish.
Anyway, I will be visiting often and asking many questions being a new fish owner. :)
