they arent o demanding on what there needs are but they dont always eat frozen foods and feeder goldfish will give them liver cancer. if they will eat frozen silversides and krill then good its easy from there. they just need basic water quality that any fish would and lighting is preferred dim usually as well as the presence of lots of rock work. all have a poison as u stated so ull have to watch out not to get stung. as far as tank mates other rockfish, eels, and some tough beefy predatory fish would work well. anything small or delicate would soon become lunch in most cases.
