I only ever fed mine once every other day....

You have to think sometimes about the natural habitat they live in...there is not always going to be a meal on a plate out in the ocean, some goes for days before finding their next meal...

Can't vote, when I use probably all those listed. It varies on whether it is a fry tank, grow out, activity, or a dozen other issues.

Between 1-2 times a day,,,, 3 times for the fry...the name or the thread is intresting...:)

....yes, I never substitue fish food for gravel...none of my fish will eat gravel, play with it, but usually spit it back out...

argh.. this keeps happening.

anybody know where the original thread is?

It generally happens when copying a thread with a poll....or it could have something to do with the upgrade and small downtine this morning.

usually 3 for me, i think what niko said is true, but i also want my smaller predator fish to be able to grow to full size quicker, and also live a more healthy live that the vitamins and what not in food provide them with.

Usually they get two different types of frozen food in a day, and one type of dry food, but the dry food varies too. I think i may look into making a staple frozen food, made mostly out of fresh seafood, with added vitamins and what not.

Does anyone have a good recipe for this?

EDIT: just so everyone knows, all the fish are carnivores or omnivores that i would want this frozen staple for.
