Sorry if the pictures arn't a great quality they were taken with my camera phone lol . . . . Anyway here are my cichlids and i know the tank is overcrowded. . . . . . . . . . Hope you like it and feel free to leave comments . . . . . Some of the pictures are from the past befire i re-decorated it and soem are after i re-decorated it .

Oh my god your tank like totally stinks they are some of the most boringiest cichlids, and like everyone breeds lion heads and johannis and what the heck is jo is thats his name cause if it is you need some help and get rid of all those last centuary fish and get some new ones cause frankly all those fish suck
and even your decorations suck get some logs and rocks in there well some more cause there is soo much free space it looks boring !!
but i do have to say those crimson tides keep em i hardly see them apparently they are endangered in the wild soo breed em and set them FREE
Stupid Tank By the way GET BIGGER AND BETTER not all that last centuary crap

Wonderful tank. I have never owned cichlids before but it seems like you have a nice variety there. The Jack Dempsey is my favorite. Reminds me a bit of my damsel ^^

You have great looking fish, only the texas looks sick from what i seen but the rest look in great condition and health especially for an ocerstocked tank lol.
The best fish there i reckon are the lion heads (was the male the big one with the giant lump on its head cause if it was he is gorgeous) and it looks like they've bred alot with all the little ones lol have they always bred in the cave thing lol??

angel yup the big lion head the the lump on his head is the father of all the young. . . . and they have have also bred in a pit under some logs that they dug up . . i think thats was there first successful breeding area.
Nikky yup i do sell my fish its a bit hard to catch them though lol fast little buggers they are .
KingOfTheDeep yeah i know i shouldn't mix the origins but they have been alright for about a year now not many problems with the cichlids health only with the texas but the rest seem fine . .

lovely tank, great variation..looks very well maintained.... lots of care... i used to keep convicts.. great fish,very feisty but easy to breed... oh.. and dont interact with those whos comments can only be viewed as childish and pathetic!! you have created awonderful tank..colin.

Africans & JD in same tank!?! If I were just ro read that stocking list, I'd have predicted swift Krib death, and Tterror hiding (until the Johanii & JD completed their duel w/ JD winning).
I'm not familiar w/ the other species, but I'm glad it's working. Nice tank.

This forum is to show case your tanks and that is it! If you have something negative to say about another members tank do so in pm or some where else. It is not fair to the fish keeper to have you all bash there hard work because you do not agree with their idea's on what a good tank is.
Here is a link to the rule's of this forum and I am not going to put up with any more of this. Keep the post's to comments about the tank's and even suggestion's if you feel something is wrong but keep the negativity out of it!

I am a saltwater guy but that is a nice tank (and that takes a lot cause I usually am not fond of FW tanks)

thanks . . .pitty my pics arnt really detailed that way we could be sure . . . :) anyway i think your right that the Jd is female and the GT is male :)
LOOKS GOOD TO ME i am just seting up with cichlids have got two 180 ltr tanks and a 60 ltr spare i am only keeping new world cichlids .any advice would be good as i have just orderd£200 worth of fish :help:

Last century fish? Does she think fish are fashion icons or somthing? I dont think she deserves the pleasure of fish keeping.
On a lighter note. I love your tank. Very very nice fish. I just started liking SA cichlids and bought a pair of firemouths the otherday. Hopefully they will breed. I love your tank. Wish i had it.

thanks, to tell ya i couldn't of done it without my parents i was just gonna fill that tank up with gold fish and tropicals lol glad i went to cichlids.
