Would 200g be good for an Oscar, GT and a JD?

I could probably go up to a maximum of around 220g or so, and I'm more concerned if that would be big enough for happy full grown fish, provided there are hiding places for all 3.

They'd be growing up together, so there won't be any new 'invaders' after territories have been established.

I'd like to make sure all 3 can be healthy and happy, so I don't want to go with bare minimum.

Thanks in advance! :)

Yes, and actually, You could have a couple of the JD/GTs. Even start them in smaller tanks, and move up.

Thanks! So I could even have a total of 4-5 of these guys? I'm guessing I'd want to stay away from pairs, since I understand all bets are off while breeding.

It'd be great to see 4 or 5 of these guys fully grown in the same tank :D

Another question...

If I were to have a school of silver dollars (around 5), would I need to worry about space/agression with just a JD and Oscar in a 200+ gallon (or even a GT if you guys think it's plausible)?

Thanks again! :)

silver dollars are pretty tough fish, and you could have a school of 10 of them as dithers for 1 oscar, a GT and JD. that would work very well.

Awesome, thanks for your input. :) Ideal tank size for that, in your opinion?

your tank would be perfect for that stock

minimum, 180 gallons, but its best to understock when youve got a couple of the big boys in your tank.

Thanks so much! It's hard to make a final decision, but with everyone's help I think I'm set... for the time being, anyways
