I have a fry tank (20 gal Long) in which I have 20 electric blue johanni. How long before the get their blue colors. They are about 2 months old and they seem to morph from orange with black strips to solid orange. Any advice ?
pH is 8.0, water temp steady 78°, all other test are good. I now have my second batch (2 days old) of 15 in a 10 gallon fry tank and some of them are almost pure black. They are only about 1/8 inch long at this point.
