For some reason I can't search, so I'll just go ahead and ask. What product(s) do you use/recommend for tap water conditioning? Mainly, I'm concerned with eliminating chlorine (the only water treatment done here). However, our town's water comes from aquafers and is very mineral rich, so something that gets rid of heavy metals would be good I imagine. I saw a number of different ones at online stores, but haven't really come across any good reviews.

Anything, even cheap dechlorinators will deal with chlorine. Prime is good as if your water company does switch to chloramine without you noticing then it will deal with that as well.

Any heavy metals shouldn't be in large enough concentrations to matter, at least not if it is safe for human consumption.
