Angel fish stocking

Could I get a pair of angels in a 35 gallon hex tank? I would like to get about 4 or six of them and let them pair off. Would this tank support them? I did have a pair of Apistos in this tank but the female is being a ***** and killing the male, and started out with the tetra's. So I am done with those.

IMO a 35 hex can only support 1 angel, because hex tanks are taller and don't have as much surface area.

i agree. i dont like hex and tall tanks. can limit the fish a lot.
