I just wanted to confirm if I am reading the my Nitrate results correctly. If I look through the test tube placed against a white background I get light orange color which is 10 ppm, is this the correct way to read it or do I remove the lid and look into the test tube? In that case the color is red which is 40 ppm. Thanks!

i put it against the card in good light to look at it. if you read the things that come with it i am sure thats how it says to do it.
