I whent to buy some bulbs and there are cool whites, sunlight, and daylight, They have diffrent numbers on them, lumens, and k, what am i looking at? which are better high numbers or low? Or am i better off buying bulbs from lfs for 10$ more for every bulb?

Agreed. Stay away from cool white and warm whites. K rating describes the color of the bulb, lower numbers are yellowish and higher numbers are bluish, centered around 6,000K roughly. You cant beat the value of the Philips Daylight Deluxe. BTW there are ALOT more than 3 types of bulbs! The choices are almost endless...

Lumens will tell you how bright it is and Kelvin rating will give you a sense of what color it is. A bulb with a low k rating, like warm whites and cool whites, will give off a yellowish light. A bulb that has a higher k rating, like daylights will give off a much whiter light. A bulb with k rating of 10,000k will give off a very sterile white light with no hint of yellow.
They'll all grow plants well if you supply enough wattage so buy whatever looks good to you. Don't waste money on the specialty bulbs unless you like their color.
