Would coral look better under 96 W pc or a 70W Sunpod?

If I remember correctly the sunpod is a halide. If that is so the sunpod will look better.

Dedpending on the bulb's kelvin it could look worse or better.

i think you can either get the 14 k or the 20 k. I don't really know what that means.

the higher the number the bluer the light. the lower the number the more yellow the light. I have a 14K on my 10 gal and love it. 20K and your corals will probably look like smurfs.

should i get the 70 w sunpod becuase i've noticed that when buying corals under halides that when they come back to my pc that they lose a lot of color. Will lps and softies do good under this? I have a ten gallon

You should be fine with that. I just bought a DIY 70W HQI for my 10 and I am keeping a purple monti. cap. If I where you I would go for the 14K bulb they look nice. I think mine came with an astralux.
