I've switched from floating hikari gold pellets to a sinking Nutrafin max pellet and i really like the sinking quality but is there any other sinking pellets? When i mean sinking i mean sinking immediately as i found out most that say sinking means after 15 minutes or so when they got soft and mushy.

The best goldfish food IMO is Pro Gold which is made by hikari. Its hard to find in stores, but goldfishconnection.com always has it on stock. as soon as you drop it in to the water it sinks.

Sometimes with my goldfish I will throw in some sinking shrimp pellets. They love them and just go crazy for them. They can also float if you gently put them on the water but I just throw them in.

dang thanks for the great tip for the pro gold! that is exactly what i was looking for and great price too.
