On my live rock there are some small whittish things growing that have tenticles. they are too small to take a pic of. Does anyone know what i am talking about or what they are?

Thats exactly what it is but not as big yet and the clusters are spread out on different places on different rocks.

Lotuskid: If they have eight 'arms' chances are they're Octocorals (they look like they have eight arms to me). Definately a keeper, they're harmless filter feeders.

Like in sharpie's link, aiptasia has lots and lots of fine whispy 'arms'.
