What is the difference between :

Cichlasoma carpinte

Herichthys cyanoguttatum

And

can they breed?

Carpinte has bigger spots they are also more colorful. The spots are greenish blue like a turquoise.

Cyanoguttatus has smaller spots there blue and not as colorful as the carpinte.


And can they breed?

Yes but why would you wanna do something like that?

Why would I want them to breed?

because I have a male and a female in a tank.

I had a pair now that pair is now 100. They will defanitly breed.
