Hey Guys, Check out these puffermovies sent by one of my pufferfriends on another site. You'll need Quicktime to view them.

The puffers in those movies are SW, and one looks to be a bridled burrfish, same family but not a puffer.

BUt it should have been posted in the marine section then not brackish water section.

Yeah I hear what your saying but I was expecting brackish water puffers not a salt water porcupine puffer sitting on the ground looking at a salt water clown fish. I dont know just me.

Am I the only user of the BW forum who won't look the gift horse in his salty mouth? Thanks for sharing, Pufferpunk! :)

Sorry--I didn't intend for my comment to sound harsh. I just didn't want anyone running out and buying a porcupine puffer for a brackish setup, and wanted the fish to be identified as more than just puffers.

I enjoyed the links as well--though I wouldn't trust a puffer with my finger tips. ;)

I figured that was the avenue from whence you were coming, OG, but I figured that reassurance from me wasn't out of line, so I gave it.

First, I can't do that with my fish since there is competition.
Secondly, my puffer has bitten me and that isn't fun. Finger just barely in the tank while my other hand was cleaning the tank. OUCH! my mistake that won't happen again!

I've had the wonderful experience with my sw puffs olaf. I had the first with my Arothron manilensis puff and felt like my pinky was going to fall off (the puff is a good 6 inches-not including tail), then the next day got bit by my Lunare Wrasse and that hurt a fair bit too. Now just waiting for my Queen Trigger to figure it out. Then it won't be fun! As to the topic, haven't had much time recently to view all of them yet but hopefully will soon. BTW, I don't mind and don't think many other have a problem with sw puff footage in a bw forum that contains more puff lovers than the general marine forum. Just don't make a habit of it. The occasional one is fine though.
