View Full Version : Are these Aquatic Plants?

I just bought these and I have a feeling that they aren't aquatic at all even though they were marked so. Thanks for your help in advance.
The first one looks like a Peacock fern, which isn't aquatic.
I don't know about the second plant.

I forget the name of the top of my head but no, the second plant is not aquatic. Sorry bud....

Second one is a Dracaena dermensis, striped. Definitely non aquatic!

I have a couple new potted plants now. I'm off to find a reputable aquatic plant seller. Thanks for everyone's help.

I have the second plant in my tank for 5 months now. It's growing really slowly but growing. I think it's some kind of lucky bamboo

Definetly not aquatic. They may be fine for a little while, but they will soon start to rot, and foul the water.
